They provide superior reliability and flexibility over star networks as if one node fails, the data is re-routed through other available nodes. The devices transfer data in real time to the Wi4B Westire Smart City iLCS CMS Platform, allowing it to log, report and alert remotely all the electrical feeder pillar parameters, exporting them easily in common formats. It allows failure management with exact identification of sections affected by failures. It is possible to monitor and evaluate the voltage quality characteristics (current) etc.
