Zhaga DALI D4i Dimming Photocell

Westire’s Zhaga DALI D4i dimming and Part-Night photocell utilises Westire’s Eye Response ambient light detector technology. The filtered silicon based light sensor is paired with a microprocessor that runs advanced algorithms to deliver accurate and energy-efficient streetlighting and outdoor lighting.

Being fully compliant with Zhaga Book 18 future-proofs the photocell and ensures an interoperable connection, so that it can fit into the Zhaga socket without the need to disconnect the mains supply.

A Photocell with a Self-Correcting Dimming and Part-Night Function

The photocell is engineered and assembled in the EU, with a 20-year design life, it features only top brand electronic components and high-quality materials to ensure robustness. Before leaving the factory, each unit has a full electrical and 48-hour operational burn-in test to further ensure quality and performance standards are met.

Designed to meet the needs of DALI enabled LED smart street light luminaries the photocell can be programmed to meet Part-Night, On/Off and dimming schedules. Meaning that streetlights can be automatically switched On/Off at dusk and dawn or automatically dimmed with custom calculated midnight dimming also an advanced feature of the photocell. This serves to make cost savings through reduced power consumption.
