Mains Power Tap

Our mains Power Tap is a versatile method of providing mains power to outdoor devices via street lights. It delivers auxiliary power to third-party equipment through the luminaire’s ANSI/NEMA receptacle.

The Power Tap enclosure is manufactured from UV stabilised polycarbonate, providing long-life durability and it is sealed to IP65 protecting against dust and water ingress. Manufactured at our in-house facility in Ireland, EU, using only high-quality name brand components our mains Power Tap comes with a 5-year warranty as standard.

Installation Can Take Place in Three Easy to Follow Steps:

  1. Remove the photocell from the NEMA/ANSI receptacle and insert the Power Tap twist and is locked into place.
  2. Insert the removed photocell back into the Power Tap’s own NEMA/ANSI receptacle twist and it’s locked into place.
  3. Connect the Power Tap’s cable (2 meters in length as standard) and its best practice to connect an in-line RCD to the auxiliary device requiring the supply.

You can also combine our mains Power Tap with our ANSI/NEMA receptacle and bracket kit for wall or pole mounting of both the Power Tap and the photocell.
