DC Power Tap

Our DC Power Tap is the ideal method of connecting a third-party device through a low-voltage DC power output.

The Westire DC Power Tap provides auxiliary power directly from the ANSI/NEMA socket to devices such as wi-fi access points, CCTV cameras, environmental sensors or other smart IoT devices. It does this all whilst maintaining the normal operation of the photocell.

DC Street Light Power Tap

The ‘plug-and-play’ design means that it can be easily inserted into a 3 or 7 pin ANSI/NEMA Twist Lock socket/receptacle, either mounted on the canopy of a streetlight or a wall-or-pole-mounting bracket.

The DC Power Tap, with 5V, 12V, 24V & 48V options, is the market’s most versatile 3 & 7-pin NEMA/ANSI outdoor lighting method of connecting an auxiliary load, WiFi or IoT sensor to a streetlight, without interrupting photocell or streetlight operation.

Our products are renowned in the industry for their quality and reliability. This is because we pride ourselves on being leaders and innovators and developing products that are designed, manufactured and tested in-house at our Ireland, EU facility. We employ our rich heritage of experience in street light control products to deliver market leading solutions.
