9500 0-10V Dimming Photocell

The Westire 9500 0-10V dimming photocell has been designed for the 0-10v communication protocol – delivering cost and energy savings.

Through its upward facing daylight sensor, the dimming photocell has a full view of the open hemisphere of sky which results in higher switching accuracy for automatic outdoor lighting. In addition, the 9500 DALI dimming photocell incorporates all of the features of the Westire gold standard dusk-dawn 8480 Long Life photocells have, such as our Eye Response filtered silicon light sensor and microprocessor switching control. This accurate combination and dimming provides the best energy savings and reliable operation.

When used in general residential and light commercial applications, the 9500’s 320 Joule standard Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) surge protection*, protects against voltage spikes, such as those caused by lightning or grid fluctuations.

To meet the demands of a range of applications, the 9500 dimming photocell is compatible with all the ANSI/NEMA photocell 5 and 7 pin Twist Lock sockets/receptacles so as to interface with all DALI and D4i LED smart drivers for automatic operation.

The 9500 photocells have been engineered at our well-established manufacturing facility in Ireland, employing our more than 40 years photocell manufacturing expertise. We’re delighted to offer an 8-year warranty with this product that features major brand electronic components and materials, to ensure quality and longevity.
