When it comes to safety and reliability at airports, high mast lighting provides illumination to large areas such as aprons, taxiways and car parks to ensure the safety of passengers, ground staff and pilots. 

For these hard-to-reach areas, our Long-Life products provide the ideal lighting solution as they are reliable and durable and therefore don’t need to be changed out often, just Fit & Forget®.

Our photocells have been installed and are in use at Dublin Airport to control perimeter lighting across the Airport, using ambient light detection to automatically turn lights on and off.

Outdoor Lighting Controls Suitable for Airports

To further support airport outdoor lighting, we can provide smart control options such as our Zhaga compatible cells and PIR motion sensors, as well as ANSI/NEMA and DALI dimming photocells. These lighting control options ensure that light is available where and when it is required and it can be set by the ambient light detected, by vehicle or people motion. This makes these photocells ideal for external car parks and areas where pedestrians and vehicles are present.
